Urad Dal, is one of the most widely used dals across India and Nepal, and is used in many of the staple dishes across the country. Black gram whole is a small black skinned bean that is pale white on the inside and has a slightly glutinous texture. It is highly nutritious and has a rich amount of protein content. Our organic Urad dal is prepared and sorted to ensure that it is free from stones, broken seeds and any kinds of contamination. Our dal is also free from adulteration and is prepared keeping low moisture, so that it can be stored for a longer period of time. Urad dal is often ground into a flour or paste, and is used to make many staple South Indian dishes such as Dosa, Idli, Vada and Papad.
