Brown sugar is characterised by the present of molasses content ranging from 3%-6%, while the rest of the part being made of sucrose sugar. It has a flavour characterised similar to caramel or toffee, and when baked, makes the baked food moister, chewier and heavier. Our organic brown sugar is of medium brown colour, containing a balanced level of molasses, which make it healthier, and rich of minerals such as iron, potassium, manganese and calcium.
